Stitched Calico B cotton mops are a popular pre/finishing wheel and are often utilised with a Tripoli compound to cut back light scratches before final polishing. Rows of stitching create a harder surface to allow greater pressure to be applied when polishing compared with the loose leaf/unstitched version. They can be used to pre/polish plastics aluminium stainless steel copper brass chrome silver & gold. Pumice can also be used with these mops.
