The clay remains workable for extended periods, allowing time for forming, carving, and refining details without drying too quickly. It captures texture cleanly, carves smoothly, and fires to a strong bronze finish with a predictable shrinkage rate.

Firing Instructions

• Firing Method: Kiln firing (two-stage process)
• Phase 1: Place on steel mesh in hot or cold kiln. Ramp full speed to 426 °C and hold for 10 minutes
• Phase 2: Fire in activated carbon within a stainless steel container. Ramp full speed to 871 °C and hold for 1 hour
• Cooling: Allow to cool fully in carbon
